Description
Griffin Weeping grass is a winter active grass and is incredibly shade tolerant. The Griffin Weeping variety was developed by the University of New England specifically as a high quality lawn. Once established, it has low maintenance needs as it only grows to around 25cm tall, is highly drought and frost tolerant, perfect for areas that see the extremes of both winter and summer.
Griffin Weeping grass is our premium lawn choice because of its attractive appearance. At the same time it is persistent and prefers acidic soils which are commonly found across Australia. It is suitable for use on roadsides, and in municipal parks and gardens. Once your Griffin Weeping lawn is established, it will provide persistent ground cover. Your lawn will only require 3-4 mows a year. The dense foliage and soft leaves mean that this grass produces a very high quality lawn. This Premium lawn is renowned for its incredible shade tolerance, which means its perfect for those lawns where buildings, fences and trees block out most of the sun.
